Santa is back!

BELLEVILLE – Children in Belleville are likely to be on their best behaviour this weekend as Santa Claus comes to town.

He will make his long-awaited arrival to Belleville on Sunday  in time for the 16th annual Nighttime Santa Claus Parade, which begins at 4:30 p.m.

The Belleville Chamber of Commerce hosts the parade. The chamber’s special events coordinator, Susan Walsh, says there will be approximately 80 to 85 entries this year, which makes the parade around the same length as last year’s.

It will start at the corner of North Front Street and King George Square, behind Metro grocery store, before making its way downtown.
