Auditions for Mendelssohn’s Elijah to take place this month

BELLEVILLE – Choral auditions for Mendelssohn’s Elijah will take place Nov. 22 and 23 at Bridge Street United Church.

Elijah is an oratorio with orchestra, choir and soloists about events in the life of the biblical prophet. It premiered in 1846.

The auditions for people interested in taking part in the chorus are Nov. 22 and 23 from 2 to 5 p.m  at Bridge Street United, 60 Bridge St. E.

The performance will take place in November 2015 as part of the 200th anniversary celebration of Bridge Street United.
