BELLEVILLE – Winter’s first snowfall has blanketed Belleville over the weekend. With the increase of snow on the roads comes the increase of weather related accidents.

Winter tires are not mandatory in Ontario but strongly recommended by the Ministry of Transportation.

QNet News’ reporter Samantha Reed is looking into the role winter tires play in keeping us safe.
