Police respond to gunshot sound at house in Thurlow Ward

BELLEVILLE – Belleville Police responded to a complaint made by a Thurlow resident after the resident heard what sounded like a gunshot while putting up Christmas lights Sunday afternoon.

The resident found a hole in the home’s window a short time after the sound, police say.

The investigation is continuing, police said Tuesday morning.
