  • January 7, 2015 at 3:08 pm

By LaShaina Blair-White

BELLEVILLE – A home was invaded at a Frank Street residence Sunday evening.

Two unknown males forced their way in and confronted the home owner. The owner was sprayed in the face with a mace-type substance and taken to Quinte Health Care he was released with minor injuries. The male suspects stole a flat screen television from the owners home and fled the scene on foot.

Then, the home owner called the police. A Belleville police spokesperson told QNetNews if anyone is in a home during an invasion they should simply contact the police immediately and not confront the perpetrators.

Police are still investigating and ask anyone who has information to contact Belleville police of Quinte Crime Stoppers.
