Loyalist Parkway collision sends three to hospital

  • March 3, 2015 at 10:43 am

BELLEVILLE – Three people were sent to hospital — one with life-threatening injuries — after a head-on collision on the Loyalist Parkway near Ameliasburgh around 6 p.m. Monday night.

Police say a vehicle travelling north just past County Road 19 entered into the southbound lane and struck an oncoming vehicle.

Both drivers sustained serious injuries and a passenger is being treated for life-threatening injuries.

Loyalist Parkway was closed for several hours after the collision as OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators assisted in the investigation.
