Belleville man arrested for being unlawfully at large

BELLEVILLE – The Belleville Police helped the OPP’s Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement squad arrest a 52-year-old Belleville man on Wednesday.

Sgt. Sheri Meeks of the Belleville Police explained that the ROPE squad works to catch people who are unlawfully at large.

The man was arrested and has been turned over to the Napanee OPP, Meeks said.
