R.I.D.E program nabs drunk driver in Quinte West

BELLEVILLE– A R.I.D.E program in Quinte West took an impaired driver off the road Monday night.

Quinte West OPP say they were stopping drivers on Glen Miller Road close to Johnstown Road late Monday night.

Police arrested a 25-year-old Quinte West man. Police says he had more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in his blood.

Police are reminding the public to report any impaired drivers so they can be taken off the road.
