Four people arrested on drug charges

BELLEVILLE – Four people were arrested on drug trafficking charges in Cobourg on Tuesday.

A 28 year-old man, a 27 year-old woman from Cobourg,  a 42 year-old man from Baltimore  and a 25 year-old man of Ajax and  were all arrested.

The four people charged were caught in possession in what police call “large” amounts of marijuana, cocaine and fentanyl.

These arrests were a joint effort of the Port Hope Police Service and Cobourg Police Service.

The chiefs of both police services, Bryant Wood and Kai Lui, will have a press conference April 3rd with more details.
