  • April 14, 2015 at 10:13 am

By LaShaina Blair-White

BELLEVILLE – A 55-year-old Wellington man was charged with impaired driving after a test showed he had a blood-alcohol level over 80 mg.

The charge was laid after a routine traffic stop in Wellington by a Prince Edward OPP officer Monday night. The stop was followed by a breathalyzer test. The officer found that the man’s blood alcohol was over the legal limit. The man was charged and his driver’s licence suspended for 90 days. The man’s car is impounded for seven days.

He will appear in court on May 13.
