Candidate debates: find the event in your riding

BELLEVILLE – Here are the upcoming debates in the three area ridings, with the confirmed attendants.

Here is the brand new riding for the Bay of Quinte

First Riding: Bay of Quinte 

  • Next debate: Monday, Sept. 21, doors open at 6 p.m. The debate runs from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. This event is hosted and organized by the Quinte West Chamber of Commerce at St Paul Catholic Secondary School, 15 Tripp Blvd., Trenton. Moderator is Paul Martin, news director of Starboard Communications. Confirmed candidates: Liberal Neil Ellis, NDP Terry Cassidy, Conservative Jodie Jenkins.
  • On Thursday, Oct. 1, starting in the afternoon at 1:30 p.m, a debate will be held at Essroc Community Centre, 111 Belleville St., Wellington. Confirmed Candidates: Conservative Jodie Jenkins, NDP Terry Cassidy, Liberal Neil Ellis.

Second Riding: North Humberland-Peterborough South

Next debate: Thursday, Sept. 17, doors open at 1:30-3:30 p.m. This debate will be held at King Edward Community Centre, 75 Elizabeth St., Brighton. Candidates attending include Green Party Patricia Sinnott, NDP Russ Christianson, and Liberal Kim Rudd.

Conservative Adam Moulton will not be attending this debate.

  • On Thursday, Sept. 17, there will be another debate starting at 6 p.m. at Campbellford High School, 119 Ranney St. N, Campbellford. Candidates attending include Liberal Kim Rudd,  Green Party Patricia Sinnott, NDP Russ Christianson and Conservative Adam Moulton.
  • On Wednesday, Sept. 23, another debate starts at 7 p.m. at Capitol Theatre, 20 Queen St., Port Hope. Candidates attending include Conservative Adam Moulton,  Liberal Kim Rudd, Green Party Patricia Sinnot and NDP Russ Christianson.

  • The following Tuesday, Sept. 29, a debate starts at 7 p.m. at Royal Canadian Legion, 136 Orr St., Cobourg. Candidates attending candidates include NDP Russ Christianson, Liberal Kim Rudd, and Green Party Patricia Sinnot.

  • And the following evening, Wednesday, Sept. 30, starting at 7 p.m another debate will take place. Broadcasted live on television by Cogeco. Conservative Adam Moulton has recently confirmed he will be participating in this event along with Liberal Kim Rudd, NDP Russ Christianson, and Green Party Patricia Sinnot.

  • On Tuesday, Oct. 6, starting at 7 p.m. Best Western, 930 Burnham St., Cobourg . Candidates attending this debate are NDP Russ Christianson Liberal Kim Rudd, and Green Party Patricia Sinnot .
  • And on Wednesday, Oct. 7, beginning at 7 p.m. Baltimore Recreation Centre, 23 Community Centre Rd., Baltimore, ON. Current candidates attending include Liberal Kim Rudd, NDP Russ Christianson, and Green Party Patricia Sinnot.

Third Riding: Hastings – Lennox and Addington

  • Next debate: Thursday, Sept. 24, doors open at 6:30 p.m. Debate located atMadoc Kiwanis Centre, 139 Lawrence St. E . Participating candidates are NDP Betty Bannon, Liberal Mike Bossio, Conservative Daryl Kramp and Green Party Cam Mather.
