BELLEVILLE – There is no better way to start celebrating fall than at the Brighton AppleFest.

The festival will be held from Sept. 23 to Sept. 27.

Events for the weekend include: a street fair, car show, children’s village, theatre production, food and more.

Thursday’s festivities begin at 7:00 p.m. with the Arts Club at 8 Loyalist Drive (in the industrial park).

The “Hike With Us” series: Fall into spring walk starts at 1:00 p.m. on Friday at the Proctor Park Conservation Area.

Brighton Kin Club’s pancake breakfast at Veterans Way and Main Street is Saturday morning. Breakfast is $6.00 per person. Two men from Trenton will be competing in a strong man competition later in the day.

A dog show at the ball diamond at King Edward Park is on Sunday morning.
