Victim identified in Stirling fire

BELLEVILLE – Stirling-Rawdon Police have identified Jane Hardie, 74, as the victim of the fatal fire that took place Saturday night on Liter Lane in Stirling.

Her husband was treated for minor burn injuries as a result of the fire, according to the Stirling-Rawdon Police.

The fire was contained by the Stirling-Rawdon fire department.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated by the Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office.
