Belleville Police got a number of calls on Wednesday night about a drunk woman banging on storefront windows in downtown. The 29-year-old Belleville woman was arrested and charged with public intoxication.

Early Thursday morning, officers went to a home on Fifth Street and arrested a 37-year-old Belleville man. He was a family member who was damaging things inside the home, police said. Although alcohol was a factor, the man was arrested for breach of the peace [2].
