BELLEVILLE – Food banks across the region have been gearing up for the Thanksgiving weekend, one of the busiest times of year for a food bank.

Local food bank Gleaner’s held their annual food drive on Oct. 4. Hampers will be handed out to families in need in time for Thanksgiving.

Gleaner’s is one of the largest food banks in the area, and supports Belleville as well as other nearby communities including Marysville and Foxboro.
