Girl hit by car on North Front Street, seriously hurt

BELLEVILLE – A 14-year-old Shannonville girl was seriously injured when she was hit by a car on North Front Street on Tuesday.
The vehicle was heading north and the girl was crossing mid-block near 211 Front St. N. when she was hit at about 12:30 p.m. Police, firefighters and paramedics responded and the girl was taken to Kingston General Hospital.
The driver remained on the scene and co-operated with police.
