Belleville man charged with sexually assaulting 94-year-old woman
BELLEVILLE – A local man has been charged with sexually assaulting an elderly Belleville nursing-home resident.
The alleged victim is a 94-year-old woman, Belleville Police say.
The force said that its criminal investigations branch launched an investigation this week into a personal-support worker at the facility after the woman was allegedly assaulted.
A 42-year-old Belleville man was charged and is to appear in provincial court on Nov. 12.
Police say they will not release the name of the nursing home.
