Thurlow ward meeting happening Thursday night

By Candice-Rose Gagnon

BELLEVILLE – City councillors Paul Carr and Jackie Denyes are hosting a Belleville Ward 2 meeting Thursday night in Thurlow to discuss the city’s upcoming capital budget.

The meeting is being held at the Thurlow Community Centre and it starts at 6:30 p.m. There will be a question and answer period of the meeting where members of the community can give their input.

Carr says he is meeting with people from  Thurlow ward to gather input from residents and see what projects they would like to have done in both Thurlow and Belleville.

It is important to meet with the residents he represents, said Carr, as this was a campaign promise he made in the last municipal election.
