By Joseph Quigley

BELLEVILLE – The gears are in motion for Belleville’s budget next year as city council is set to meet this week to discuss which items should be considered.

These include a cycling network implementation plan, a city bus purchase and improving the accessibility to city hall. If pushed forward, they will be up for discussion and approval at next year’s budget meetings.

The special meetings will take place on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday morning at 9 a.m.

The council will also discuss a few capital project matters at their regular meeting on Monday, such as changes to the transit terminal canopy project.

QNet News will be on the scene and report on what decisions are made at council meetings this week.
