Man sent to hospital after fight on Halloween

BELLEVILLE – Police say an intoxicated Belleville man was hospitalized after a fight on Halloween night.

Police responded to Yeomans Street in Belleville around 7 p.m. on Friday.

The 35-year-old man was then transported to Belleville General Hospital with head injuries.

Police say the man continued to be unruly at the hospital and was eventually arrested for public intoxication.

The man has since been released.
