Lady Lancer named athlete of the week
BELLEVILLE – Jenni Thompson of the Loyalist Lancers women’s basketball team was named OCAA Athlete of the Week following its home opener game against the George Brown Huskies.
Thompson scored 26 points, got 15 rebounds, five steals and three assists.
Thompson made her return to Loyalist this season after a two year absence. She played for Algoma University two years ago and took time off to travel before coming back to Belleville.
