Justin Trudeau and cabinet to be sworn in Wednesday

BELLEVILLE – The public will bear witness as Justin Trudeau will be officially sworn in as Canada’s 23rd prime minister on Wednesday.

Members of the public are invited to the grounds of Ottawa’s Rideau Hall, the official residence of Canada’s governor general, to watch as Trudeau and his cabinet ministers arrive to be sworn in by Gov. Gen. David Johnston.

Gates will open for the public at 9 a.m. and the ceremony will begin at 10:30 a.m.

QNet News will be on the scene to follow the ceremony and gather reaction from the crowd.
