BELLEVILLE – A woman is in hospital with life-threatening injuries following a collision in Greater Napanee Wednesday morning.

OPP responded to Lennox and Addington County Road 2, east of Switzerville Road, at 5:45 a.m., when an eastbound car entered the ditch and struck a hydro pole.

The 26-year-old woman from Marlbank had to be extricated from the vehicle.

The road was closed for several hours, but has since been reopened.
