Fallout 4 release brings the apocalypse to Belleville

  • November 9, 2015 at 3:17 pm

By Justin Medve and Nikolai Karpinski

BELLEVILLE – The next chapter in the critically acclaimed video game series Fallout releases midnight tonight.

Fallout 4 stays true to the series’ post-apocalyptic formula. It follows your protagonist 200 years after a nuclear war wipes out civilization as we know it.

Online message boards and gaming review sites have shown that fans are itching to play. It’s been seven years since Fallout 3 was released.

This major release may be different from others, however. The game costs $90 including taxes, a price increase from the last generation of consoles. Many gamers are also downloading their games instead of going out to pick up a physical copy.

QNet News will be at Quinte Mall tonight for the game’s midnight launch.

More to come.
