Man charged with stunt driving

BELLEVILLE – Napanee OPP have charged an 18-year-old Richmond Hill man with stunt driving after travelling more than 200 km/h.

On Sunday, officers from the highway safety division noticed the man travelling at 208 km/h. He was stopped on Highway 401 in Tyendinaga Township.

His vehicle was seized for seven days and his driver’s licence was also suspended for seven days.

He is scheduled to appear in Napanee court on Dec. 17.
