BELLEVILLE –  The Quinte West OPP  is holding a recruiting session next week.

The session will give members of the public a chance to see if they are interested in a career in policing.

Const. Sylvie Cote will be giving a presentation about what it takes to become an officer with the OPP. Cote will also discuss ways to make yourself a competitive candidate when applying for a constable position.

The OPP is also looking to recruit people interested in becoming a 911 operator and police dispatcher.

The session will take place at Quinte West City Hall from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 17.
