Man pulls a knife at campus party

BELLEVILLE – Belleville Police were called to a party at a Loyalist College residence early Sunday morning after a man attempted to stab someone with a knife.

Luckily he missed and instead cut the man’s shirt. The police said the victim was unharmed.

A 19-year-old man from Montreal faces two counts of aggravated assault with a weapon and one count of uttering threats.

He was arrested without incident and is due to appear in Belleville Court next month.
