BELLEVILLE – The International Day of Persons With Disabilities is this week, and this year’s theme is especially important among students with disabilities here at Loyalist College.

The importance of inclusion for the estimated one billion people with disabilities is the theme, according to the United Nations. This includes equal rights to an education.

The college’s AccessAbility Centre is responsible for helping students with various learning, physical and mental disabilities. It help students by providing them with the support they need to complete their education.

More to come.
