BELLEVILLE – If you feel in the spirit of giving this holiday season, a non-profit program is selling Hunks And Horses 2016 calendars.

Freedom Reins is a horse-assisted therapy program which helps people learn, grow and live a normal life. It is one of three non-profit organizations in Ontario that focuses on building a strong relationship between the horses and people.

According to their website, riding is not the main focus of the program. Participants can expect to learn and grow from the behavior of the animals.

The program was created to allow anyone who wants to better themselves in day-to-day life.

All proceeds from calendar sales will go to help fund the group’s programs.
