Loyalist College teams up to broadcast floorball championship
BELLEVILLE – Loyalist College is partnering up with TV Cogeco to broadcast the Women’s Under-19 Floorball World Championship in May 2016.
The tournament runs from May 4 to 8, at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre. Teams from 15 countries will participate in the championship.
Loyalist’s Journalism – Online, Print and Broadcast, Sports Journalism, Television New Media and Public Relations programs will be included in the education and broadcasting partnership.
Loyalist College President Maureen Piercy, Dean of Media, Arts and Design Kathleen Bazkur and Scott Meyers from TV Cogeco will hold a press conference in Loyalist’s Digital Media Center Tuesday afternoon.
