  • December 8, 2015 at 11:15 am

By Isaiah Mawhinney

BELLEVILLE – Cobourg Police say a good samaritan helped a stranger in a local hotel Sunday night by paying for his taxi fare.

The man, who was intoxicated, was dropped off in the hotel’s lobby, according to police. It appears he was accidentally left in the wrong town. He was safely taken to his destination of Trenton after the good samaritan offered to pick up the tab for the taxi.
