North Front Street business attacked

BELLEVILLE – Belleville police said they were called to a North Front Street bar where a man threatened the staff with a handgun early Tuesday morning.

The 21-year-old male was charged with possession of a dangerous weapon, using a firearm, death threats, assault with a weapon and breach of probation.

Police also discovered that he had many outstanding warrants. He appeared in court today for a bail hearing.
