BELLEVILLE – A piece of the Paris climate-change talks is being held in Belleville on Wednesday, with a localized version of the event.

Quinte Conservation and the United Nations Association in Canada, Quinte branch, are hosting a presentation on the science of climate change and what is being done locally to address the global issue. The event is being held in concurrence with the UN climate-change conference in Paris.

The event takes place on third floor of the Belleville Public Library at 11 a.m. QNet News will report from the scene.

More to come.
