Two impaired drivers arrested over the weekend by OPP
BELLEVILLE – Ontario Provincial Police officers arrested two impaired drivers in the area this past weekend.
On Jan. 16 a single officer reported seeing a truck driving erratically on County Road 2. When the officer pulled the driver over he was given a breath test. Police say the 20-year-old male from Loyalist Township failed the breath test.
He is to appear in provincial court in Napanee on Jan. 26.
On Jan. 17, Ontario Provincial Police arrested a 35-year-old Amherstview woman.
Police say she blew over the legal limit and was issued a license suspension and her vehicle was impounded for seven days.
The woman is scheduled to be in Napanee court on Feb. 2.
