Cyclist accident sends one woman to hospital

BELLEVILLE – A cyclist struck a van on Tuesday sending one person to hospital, according to Belleville police.

It happened around 5 p.m. on West Moira Street at Wallbridge Crescent.

The cyclist was taken to Belleville General Hospital, where she was treated and released with minor injuries.

Belleville police said the cyclist lost control when coming down the hill.

No charges were laid.
