BELLEVILLE –  A 36-year-old Napanee woman was charged on Wednesday for driving under the influence of alcohol.

The Loyalist OPP detachment said a concerned citizen called at 5:25 p.m. on Wednesday to report a vehicle swerving all over the road on Main Street in the village of Bath.

The driver was charged with operating a vehicle with a blood-alcohol level above the legal limit.

She was released on a promise to appear in provincial court in Napanee on Feb. 23.
