Dragon’s Den looking for locals

BELLEVILLE – If you’re looking to take the next step with your business, then prepare to face the dragons.

The CBC show Dragon’s Den will be holding auditions in Prince Edward County on Feb. 25. For the first time, the show’s producers will stop in the county as part of a 35-city audition tour across Canada.

Entrepreneurs will have about five minutes to sell their idea. If they are successful, they could be invited to the Den, where they can pitch their business idea to a panel of investors.

Auditions will take place on a first-come, first-served basis at Books & Company in Picton. Online applications are also available and must be filled out beforehand.

More to come.
