Quinte area sets new record high temperatures

BELLEVILLE —  Wednesday was the warmest Feb. 3 in recorded history.

Temperatures reached 10.8 degrees as of 3 p.m. according to Environment Canada which has been recording daily temperatures since 1935. That mark shatters the previous high of 6.4 degrees set in 1991.

The average high for this day is -2 degrees.
