Man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant

BELLEVILLE – Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for breaching his parole.

The OPP‘s Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement squad is seeking Mohamed Seud Mahamud, who was serving a four-year, nine-month sentence for five counts of robbery, wearing a disguise with the intent of committing a crime, and failing to comply with a probation order.

Mahamud, 24, who is from Ottawa,  is described as black, five feet, 10 inches tall and weighing 161 pounds.

He is known to frequent Ottawa, Toronto, Sudbury, and Gatineau, Que.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the provincial parole squad at 416-808-5900 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or call 911.
