Loyalist to once again host Empty Bowls
BELLEVILLE – This year’s Empty Bowls fundraiser will carry on a delicious partnership between Gleaners Food Bank and Loyalist College.
Empty Bowls is an international movement that seeks to end world hunger. This year’s fundraiser here at the college will see local businesses, artists and culinary students help to raise money for the food bank.
Guests will be served a meal prepared by Loyalist culinary students and area restaurants. Local businesses will also be present to promote and sell their products.
The event takes place Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Advance tickets cost $20 and can be purchased here.
