Man charged with impaired driving after collision

BELLEVILLE – A 36-year-old man has been charged with impaired driving after colliding with a hydro pole on Sunday.

The Loyalist Township resident was driving along Highway 33 when his van hit a pole near Fairfield Boulevard around 11 p.m., according to the Napanee OPP.

He is scheduled to appear in court in Napanee on March 22.
