  • February 29, 2016 at 2:43 pm

By Brendan Burke

TYENDINAGA – A two-vehicle collision has led to impaired driving charges for a Quinte West man.

On Feb. 26, at 9:25 p.m., Napanee OPP officers responded to a collision on Harmony Road in Tyendinaga Township. Upon arrival, it was determined that a vehicle was rear-ended by a grey Toyota after stopping on the side of the road.

The drivers and passengers involved in the accident were not injured.

Police arrested the driver of the Toyota at the scene. A 21-year-old Quinte West man was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle.

He was released on a promise to appear and is expected to appear in court in Napanee on March 10.
