Cobourg business robbed at knifepoint

COBOURG – A Cobourg man is facing several charges after a local business was robbed at knifepoint Saturday night.

At around 8:50 p.m. Cobourg police responded to a call from a staff member at the local business.

As a result of the investigation by the OPP, a 46-year-old man was charged with robbery with a weapon, wearing a disguise while committing the robbery, and failing to comply with probation order.

He is being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
