Driver on 401 faces impaired-driving and other charges

NAPANEE – A 25-year-old Toronto man is facing several charges related to impaired driving on Highway 401 near Napanee early Wednesday morning.

The man was pulled over for speeding but was charged with dangerous driving, impaired driving, taking a vehicle without consent, two charges of driving with a suspended driver’s licence and stunt driving, according to the Napanee OPP.

He is in custody awaiting a bail hearing in Napanee.
