Hop into Easter in Belleville
BELLEVILLE – Looking for fun ways to spend your Easter weekend? Belleville’s got a lot going on.
A local Nissan Dealership, Batawa Lions Club and The Promise Land Family Fun Farm are putting on events for you and your family.
Festivities begin at 9 a.m. with the Lions Club hosting an event at the Batawa Ski hill. The day starts off with a pancake breakfast, followed by an outdoor petting zoo, face painting, balloon animals and cotton candy.
Then at 10a.m. you can head over to The Promise Land Family Fun Farm and enjoy a live performance by local musician Andy Forgie. There’s also a petting zoo, face painting, an Easter egg hunt, a balloon artist and a visit with the Easter bunny. There is a fee, although it’s free if you’re under two.
If that does not interest you, you can visit Belleville’s Nissan dealership and enjoy an Easter egg hunt, a colouring contest, free car washes and a barbecue from 10 a.m. to 2p.m.
