Numerous traffic violations in Belleville

BELLEVILLE – Belleville Police handed out several citations for traffic violations over the course of the past two days.

Among the charges laid were driving without a licence and driving without insurance.

On Wednesday, a traffic stop on Highway 62 led to a charge against a 27-year-old woman of driving with a suspended licence.

A little while later, a traffic stop on Catherine Street led to charges against two people. One man was charged with a licence-plate violation and driving without a licence. The passenger was charged with an insurance infraction.

Two hours later a traffic stop on Moira Street East led to a charge of driving without insurance.

On Wednesday night another person was charged with driving without insurance after a traffic stop on Victoria Avenue.

All of the people charged are to appear in court on April 25.
