As hunting season opens, safety is top concern

BELLEVILLE –  As hunters across Ontario prepare for the 2016 fall hunting season, safety is top of mind for many local hunters.

According to the International Hunter Education Association, approximately 1,000 people in the U.S. and Canada are accidentally shot in hunting accidents every year.

What steps can you take to ensure your hunting trip as safe as possible?
