BELLEVILLE – The Trenton Golden Hawks [2] continued their undefeated streak Wednesday against the Toronto Patriots [3] winning 5-1.
The Hawks are set to play at home Friday against the Pickering Panthers [4].
The Wellington Dukes [5] are currently on a four-game winning streak with a victory against Milton IceHawks [6] Sunday.
They head to Newmarket Thursday to face the Hurricanes [7] and play the Burlington Cougars [8]at home Sunday.
Meanwhile…the Loyalist women’s soccer team was in action last night at the Zwicks Park field, losing a close game 2-1, but scoring their first season goal against the Fleming Knights [9].
The women play again at home Friday against the Algonquin Thunder [10].
Both the men’s and women’s rugby teams lost their first games of the season to St. Lawrence [11] last Saturday.
They meet the Algonquin Thunder in Ottawa on Sunday.
