Weather falls just short of breaking a record

BELLEVILLE – Tuesday was supposed to break records with a high of 28 C, but fell just short reaching only 22 C.

The day still felt warmer than usual and had many residents of Belleville out enjoying the day, some saying it felt almost like Caribbean weather.

According to Environment Canada, [3] temperatures were supposed to hit 28 C with the humidex, and be the hottest Belleville has seen in 53 years.

The record for the warmest Oct. 18 was set in 1963 when it was 26.7 C.

QNet  News [4] reporters took to the streets to talk to residents to see how they felt about the atypical weather for October.
