BELLEVILLE – Meyers Transport will be shutting down as of January 20, 2017. The company announced the news on Monday.

Meyers Transport has been in business for 90 years. On the company’s website it says it’s closing due to economic reasons. The announcement doesn’t say how many employees will be out of a job as a result.
